School Houses
School houses are groups or teams that students are placed into, usually when they first join the school. The house system is designed to promote a sense of community, belonging, and healthy competition among students. Each house often has its own name, color and motto.
Why are they used?
- Community & Belonging: Students feel part of a smaller group within the larger school, helping them build friendships and feel included.
- Leadership & Responsibility: Older students may take on roles like house captains, encouraging leadership and teamwork.
- Friendly Competition: Houses compete in sports, academics, arts, and other events, motivating students to participate and do their best.
- Positive Behavior & Values: Houses often reward good behavior, effort, and achievements, reinforcing the school’s values in a fun and supportive way.
We have thoughtfully selected our CF School House names to embody the spirit of our Cayman home, reflect our core school values, and highlight the personal traits we strive to cultivate in our students.
